The difference lies mainly in texture and strength. A classic paper napkin (wadding) is often thin, fragile, and purely utilitarian in appearance. Françoise PAVIOT napkins are made from thick non-woven material (Airlaid). This cellulose fiber-based process creates a product with a soft feel and a visual appearance very similar to textile (linen or cotton). More absorbent and much stronger, it does not fray and maintains an impeccable look throughout the meal, offering the prestige of fabric without the constraints of washing.

Absolutely! That's one of the great strengths of our non-woven napkins. Thanks to their superior weight and density, they have excellent shape retention. Unlike standard paper, which sags, our napkins allow you to create creative and complex folds (pyramids, fans, cutlery pouches, etc.) that hold their shape perfectly. They thus offer you the freedom to personalize your table decor with elegance.

The choice depends on the moment of consumption and the desired ambiance:

- Cocktail size (approx. 25x25 cm unfolded): Ideal for aperitifs, buffet dinners, coffee, or accompanying miniature pastries. It is both discreet and refined.

- Large napkin (dinner size approx. 40x40 cm unfolded): This is the essential size for seated meals (lunches, dinners, weddings). Its generous size perfectly protects clothing and allows you to showcase your napkin folds.

- Napkin roll: This format is particularly appreciated for its practicality and modernity. Often pre-cut, they are ideal for large receptions or for daily use where you want to quickly adjust the table setting while maintaining a high-end aesthetic.
